To continue our conversation about moon care, this month I would like to focus on our air signs moons – Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. People with their moons in air signs tend to need more grounding experiences in their lives as they tend to be in their heads more and get anxious and overstimulated easier than any other moon sign. Air signs are focused on information, communications, and logic. When there is something on their minds, air signs benefit more than other moon signs from discussing their concerns and feelings with their friends, family, therapists, or writing them in a journal. Some time ago, I enjoyed observing three students in one of the classes I attended. They were talking the entire three hours of the class, about absolutely nothing and everything. I was amazed how they found topics to discuss for that long and never ran out of ideas. 😊 Sure enough, all three had placements in air signs- Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. This is astrology in practice to you! Now, let’s focus on moon care specific to each air sign.
Gemini Moon –
Folks born with moon in Gemini are social butterflies. They need to be around other people and places where information exchange is free flowing (unless this moon is in the 12th house of seclusion). To truly unwind though, Gemini moons should spend a little time on their own, writing a book or expressing thoughts in their journals, watching news, taking Pilates class, reading a good book on a topic they know nothing about or attending a yoga class, such as Vinyasa, that includes repetitive and grounding poses to settle overactive minds and help with respiratory health. Otherwise, Gemini moons could unwind through taking a language class, board games, teaching a class, attending a book club meeting or a social networking event. They also benefit from talking through their issues with a trusted friend or a therapist. Being much in their heads, Gemini moons tend to forget to eat, so, intentionally scheduling meals and eating some warm nourishing foods would be great for these folks. They may also enjoy adding to their selfcare routines a whole-body massage with aromatherapy of lavender, eucalyptus, or rosemary oils and some gentle music to calm the overactive nervous system.
Libra Moon-
People with moon in Libra generally seek beauty and balance in their lives. They tend to have a hard time in the situations where there is unfairness, chaos, rudeness, and ugliness of any sort. As a result, negative emotions created by adverse situation tend to manifest in their bodies as physical ailments. It does not help either that Libra moons tend to bypass or sacrifice their needs to accommodate schedules or wants of others. So, making self-care a priority and scheduling it on a regular basis is essential for these folks. These individuals could benefit from balancing yoga exercises, tai-chi (which makes them to slow down), arts and crafts projects, home decorating, walks in the nature, peaceful music, ice skating, trips to a museum or an art show, connecting with a good friend over a meal, going to a group exercise class, reading a legal thriller (John Grisham, anyone?) or watching a legal show (Suits, Boston Legal, Law and Order). Also, adequate hydration and whole foods with low glycemic index to balance sugar levels are very important for Libra moons. They may also enjoy aromatherapy using such essential oils as rose, geranium, and peppermint or lighting some candles to create a peaceful and harmonious environment.
Aquarius Moon –
I have not met an Aquarian yet who does not want to make a difference in a community or help with humanitarian causes one way or another. Folks born under Aquarius moon are not different. Just like other moon signs, Aquarius moons tend to get overstimulated and anxious dealing with myriads of things and absorbing ever increasing amount of information the modern technological advances throw their way. To decompress though, these folks may enjoy connecting with the community, volunteering, or helping with a cause. It simply makes them feel happy. They could also relax through solving some puzzles which satisfies their curious minds. Some other activities to consider are escape rooms, photography, studying astrology or tarot, watching a documentary or a show about universe and cosmos or what could be done about global warming. For a deeper relaxation, mineral salt baths could go a long way to improve circulation; or acupuncture and reiki to help with the buzzing nerves. For the day-to-day care, Aquarius moons should focus on eating grounding foods, such as warm stews and root vegetables, and adding some herbal teas to their daily diet, such as passionflower. Aromatherapy with essential oils such as patchouli or sweet marjoram may help to ground these individuals and increase happiness. And not to forget about doing some yoga, especially easy twists, downward dog, and reclining legs poses.

November 2024 Transits
November is looking like a mixed bag of pleasant and challenging transits. At the end of the day, it is what we make of these, right? I think taking lemons and making a lemonade from challenging experiences is a way to go! 😊 Transits described below may feel more impactful if you have personal planets at the listed degrees (plus or minus a couple of degrees) in your natal chart. You can obtain a free copy of your natal chart from astro-seek.com.
November 1: Mercury trines Neptune (26-27 degrees Scorpio and Pisces)-This is a great transit to stimulate your creativity and imagination. Mysticism and spiritual topics may become of interest to you at this time. Take a breather today and give yourself permission to just relax and enjoy a good book and beautiful music. Your chores can wait till tomorrow!
November 1-2: Mercury trines Mars (29 degrees Scorpio and Cancer) – This is a good transit for all sorts of mental work. Your intellectual endeavors are propelled forward by Martian drive. You can take on challenging problems to resolve at this time and will not be easily discouraged by any setbacks. It is also a good transit to make your point on issues at hand as Mars will provide confidences to express yourself in a positive way. Public speaking engagements should go well.
November 1-6: Mars opposes Pluto (29 Cancer and Capricorn) – This transit is about ego vs. power in our relationships with others. If you are trying to change your current work or relationship dynamic, it is likely that you will meet significant resistance. The outcome could be a great success if you play your cards right. So, think before you leap. Make sure to plan out your strategy and line up as many alias in your corner as you can to outweigh the opposition.
November 2: Mercury sextiles Pluto (29 degrees Scorpio and Capricorn) – This is a good transit to uncover some mysteries or engross yourself in a detective novel or a TV show. You may also enjoy studying subjects such as astrology or psychology around this time. If you are researching a topic, this could also be a good transit to teach others what you may have learned.
November 3: Venus opposes Jupiter (20 degrees Sagittarius and Gemini) – While this is not a bad transit, it tends to promote excessive self-indulgence. On the other hand, it is simply nice to just enjoy life and all it has to offer, such as delicious foods, fun parties, or time with friends and loved ones. Be mindful of overeating or gambling too much (Jupiter is excess and Venus is our monetary spendings). Otherwise, just make it a relaxing and fun weekend.
November 4-5: Sun trines Saturn (12 degrees Scorpio and Pisces) – This is a good transit to bring reality check into your life by re-examining who and what surrounds you, your daily habits, and your attitudes. Are you disciplined enough in the areas of life where it is needed? If not, this transit will help you to figure out how to get organized and stir your life back on the right path. Saturn will help you to bring back into your life organization and efficiency.
November: 9 Venus square Neptune (27 Sagittarius and Pisces) – This transit may feel like wearing rose colored glasses when it concerns our relationships, friendships, or possessions. It may cause us to compare these to some unattainable idea, which would result in disappointment. However, if a relationship comes to a halt during this transit, it is likely that it never had a good foundation to begin with. Consultant with someone you respect to obtain independent and grounded perspective. We all need reality check from time to time.
November 12: Mercury squares Saturn (12 degrees Sagittarius and Pisces) – This is a good day for studying and any type of heavy mental work. However, this is not the easiest day to communicate with others. So, time alone, working on your tasks, is the best. You may also feel more critical today of yourself and others or have a bit of a gloomy disposition. Saturn tends to dampen our mood. No worries, it is only a short transit and should pass in a day. Take advantage of it though and catch up with administrative chores that you have been procrastinating to get started on.
November 16-17: Sun opposes to Uranus (25 degrees Scorpio and Taurus) – This is a good day to expect the unexpected. You may feel more restless than usual during this day and just feel like you are a bit fed up with the way you approach life. This is especially true if you have not been genuine with who you are up to this point. Go with the flow and embrace the quirky and different parts of yourself. We all need to do this more for our own well-being.
November 17-18: Mercury opposes Jupiter (18 degrees Sagittarius and Gemini)- This is an optimistic transit overall. If you exercise some care, it is great for a variety of contractual negotiations. However, Jupiter may make us feel overoptimistic about our outcomes and gloss over small details. So, proceed with caution. Also, when communicating with others, Jupiter may make us come across as boastful or arrogant. So, just tone it down a bit. Otherwise, it is a good transit for a variety of things.
November 18-19: Sun trines Neptune (28 degrees Scorpio and Pisces) – This transit tends to make us a little more idealistic and gives us a strong desire to understand deeper aspects of spirituality. Whatever comes up for you, contemplate or meditate on it. This is a good transit to offer help to those who need it and to work with others on charitable causes.
November 21-22: Sun sextiles Pluto (29 degrees Scorpio and Capricorn) – This is a good day to change circumstances you are not happy about. This transit may bring into your life some creative power to clean up situations that became confusing or unfair in some way. Use your newfound power for good. If anything, use this time to declutter and let go of a few physical possessions that someone else could benefit from more than you. 😊
November 22: Venus sextiles Saturn (12 degrees Capricorn and Pisces) – This transit is usually good for a variety of business dealings as you will find a practical approach to almost anything. It is also a useful day to spot a good deal on an item you would like to purchase, so, you don’t have to pay top dollar for it. If you have creative hobbies, focus on anything that may require detailed work. In your relationships, it is time to have a discussion to cover clear expectations from each party.
November 26-27: Sun trines Mars (5 degrees Sagittarius and Leo) – This is a good transit for physical activity as you feel more energized than usual. It is also a great transit for new beginnings in your life or readjustment of skewed balances. Give a thought to everything that you are currently working on. Are all of these projects beneficial to you or are you doing some of these to support another person’s ego. If so, it is a good time to detangle yourself. What is it that you want to do in your life that supports you? This is a good time to decide.
