Self Care for the Changing Season:  Sep 24th- 1:30-2:30 pm
– Setting time aside for self – making it a priority and actually doing it
– Self massage and dry brushing
– Nasal care – oiling and rinsing
– Oil pulling – possibly do a group oil pull
Better Sleep during Seasonal Transition: Oct 15th- 1:30-2:30 pm
– Early to bed (broad introduction of Ayurvedic times of day and why an early bedtime can mean better sleep)
– No screens after 8pm and a list of alternative activities
– Meditation (I will talk generally about meditation and lead a guided meditation)
Eating Seasonally – Autumn Edition: Oct 28th- 1:30-2:30 pm
– A broad look at doshas (give dosha quiz)
– Introduction of the 6 tastes in Ayurveda
– Discuss what foods are in season in the fall
– Discuss grounding foods to help deal with the strong wind/vata energy of fall
– Sampling of some sort of relevant treat or beverage
